Enjoy the Christmas season in New York City with the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Show featuring the Rockettes!
Our first trip is departing Rochester’s or Syracuse Amtrak Station Thursday morning November 29, 2007 at 5:42AM, arriving NYC at 12:25PM. Transfer to Hotel Metro, 5 minutes walk from Macy’s & the Empire State Building. Two nights in the Hotel Metro including buffet breakfast each morning. Dinner Thursday evening at Owen O’Reilly’s Restaurant including dessert, tip & tax. We have Orchestra seats for Thursday 8:00PM performance of the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall starring the Rockettes. This trip will include Radio City’s Christmas Show & dinner both being optional. Friday will be a free day in New York for shopping, viewing window displays, touring & possibly getting tickets for a Broadway show. We will offer a reasonable optional guided tour of the backstage operations of Radio City Music Hall on Friday. We will be departing the hotel by transfer bus at 12:15PM on Saturday to Penn. Station and our 1:45PM Amtrak departure to Rochester, arriving at 8:25PM Saturday evening.

2007 hotel prices are not available at this writing, but due to the popularity of these pre-Christmas trips it is necessary for us to make reservations 11 months in advance. Our pre-Christmas trips will only increase by the amount of rail, hotel, and theater price increases. These price increases usually amount to 6% per year increase. The reason we are notifying you at this time is that several people from our previous trips that have contacted us since December 15, 2006 and we are holding space for them on the 2007 pre-Christmas trips. The 2006 NYC trip prices were from $650.00 to $775.00 per person double occupancy depending on the week, number of days in New York, show and type of accommodations in the hotel. This includes coach fare on Amtrak, hotel, transfers Penn. Station-Hotel-Penn Station, 2 or 3 breakfasts, 1 dinner, baggage handling, taxes and orchestra ticket for Radio City’s Christmas show starring the Rockettes. Children’s rates are about 50% of adult rates depending on the number of adults in the room and triple occupancies and 2 bedroom suites for 4 adults or families are available by calling us.

We can give you information on purchasing Broadway show tickets by telephoning us. You may also decide not to go to the Christmas Show starring the Rockettes. We must know this by March 15, 2007 and the show costs will be deducted from your trip cost. Please remember if you select not to go to the show & cancel your reservations it would leave us space to sell without a Christmas Show Ticket.

For several years we have had our Pre-Christmas show dinner at O’Reillys Restaurant. We chose this restaurant as have found no complaints about the meals and they only changed their group prices to us 1 time in 5 years. It was suggested in December 2006 that we might change restaurants next year just for a change and the people in our group said, "Don’t you dare!" The restaurant serves our entire group in a little over 1 hour so we have comfortable time to make our show. The restaurant is a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

We will change the menu a bit this year. The 2-night trip, dinner is Thursday evening and the 3-night trip dinner is on Saturday evening, both before the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. The restaurant is a 3-minute walk from our hotel making it very convenient. You may if you prefer not have dinner at O’Reilly’s the meal costs will be reduced from your trip cost.
